If that were to happen, it could prevent the user from being able to boot up or operate the duplicator altogether. That’s why we developed our controller with a Dual BIOS chipset to ensure greater reliability and continued operation, even if an accident were to occur that would normally cripple the controller and therefore the entire duplicator.
Once the BIOS is down and the flash memory data corrupted because of an accident, like a sudden power failure, the backup BIOS is able to activate the entire system and retrieve the data back onto the initial BIOS through a firmware update if needed.
