Produplicator uses controllers with Dual Bios structure for an added measure of security against data corruption.

Nearly everyone either has experienced for themselves or known someone who lost important or sensitive data, information, and/or images.  So, we can appreciate the devastation one would feel for loosing those files.

Controllers work much the same as a motherboard with limited responsibilities and functionality.  Produplicator is one of the largest dvd duplicator manufacturers in the market and when we were developing our latest duplicator, we felt it was imperative to include Dual BIOS controller as an important safety precaution.

There are numerous possible ways, although many are remote possibilities, in which flash memory BIOS can become corrupted.  If that were to happen, it could prevent the user from being able to boot up or operate the duplicator altogether.  That’s why we developed our controller with a Dual BIOS chipset to ensure greater reliability and continued operation, even if an accident were to occur that would normally cripple the controller and therefore the entire duplicator.

Once the BIOS is down and the flash memory data corrupted because of an accident, like a sudden power failure, the backup BIOS is able to activate the entire system and retrieve the data back onto the initial BIOS through a firmware update if needed.

So if you don’t want to take any chances, do it right the first time, and purchase Produplicator equipment for all your duplication needs.

What is BIOS:
BIOS (Basic Input-Output System) is a complete boot system. It posts some routines for basic essential hardware operations, which are important for operating system's boot.
