The technological innovation is generally the same as those used in CD and Blu-Ray replication gadgets, although variations are available in the wave length of the lighting forecasted onto the dvd itself. Also known as DVD burning or camera, the gadgets are most generally discovered connected to a laptop or pc or set up in a program known as a DVD replication structure.

Optical dvd pushes have been integrated as a standard part of a consumer-ready laptop or pc during the early part of the Modern day. They are used mostly in the examining and generation of press and details dvds. This can include video, audio or other entertaining press as well as general details related to software and programs discovered on a pc.

Older types of details copy have been banished to the back burning as the DVD duplicator discovered success throughout the industry.Floppy pushes and the mature attractive record pushes were changed in the overdue Nineties as CD and DVD technological innovation became more frequent. In addition to its realistic programs, the fact that much of the technology market use DVD technological innovation, make this program a recommended method of press replication.

A DVD duplicator is consists of basic laserlight technological innovation that features at a wave length of 650 nm. This means that the visual dvds react to the red array of lighting. A contact courses a laserlight created from a semiconductor onto the exterior of a dvd. As lighting is demonstrated from the bright exterior, a selection of photodiodes flows the details and answer with the corresponding activities. This process is performed during both the examining and replication times.

Two servomechanisms are accountable for the rest of the lamps features. One servo manages the distance between the dvd itself and the contact to maintain a correct lighting reaction, while the other servo causes the contact to flow along a control road over the distance of the dvd. As the laserlight has an effect on the dvd, details is protected on the echoing dye placed on the metal internal. Due to the changes in reflectivity, details can later be study by the photodiodes.

A variety of different versions of DVD duplicators are produced by a variety of companies. The most common example of this is 5.25 inches edition that is placed in the systems of pcs. These are known as inner pushes and go to a pc mother board via a ATA or SATA slot. Another type of DVD duplicator is available in the form of exterior components that attaches to a pc with USB or FireWire. Full DVD duplicator systems are also available and are widely used by DVD replication services. These feature a variety of individual pushes that can study one dvd and at the same time create several duplicates.

Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13343238644692451484noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2225933851206327423.post-46849712726203580262012-03-02T14:45:00.001-08:002012-03-02T14:45:14.581-08:00What is a Hard Disk Drive Duplicator?

A hard drive duplicator is a stand-alone system used to replicated challenging hard drive generate pushes quickly, easily, and with complete reliability. It can exchange the details to a new hard drive generate or store it for archival requirements. A hard drive generate duplicator might also allow for renaming categories or remapping pushes to avoid damaged areas where details might be lost.

A hard drive duplicator can be a tower-like component capable of cloning several challenging hard drive generate pushes at once, or a mobile mobile system. Some designs require the challenging hard drive generate to be removed from the PC or laptop and loaded into the hard drive generate duplicator. At the same time, a 40-pin IDE cable, USB, PCMCIA, or similar user interface comes with many designs, providing more versatility by allowing the user to simply plug the duplicator into your laptop or computer.

Operating system-independent, the hard drive generate duplicator works equally well cloning any environment, including Unix, Unix like, Windows and Apple. It can copy RAID arrays or conventional single or multi-drive techniques and recreate the content consistently, whether the source hard drive is FAT (File Allowance Table) 16/32 or NTFS (New Technological innovation Data file System) partitioned.

With the 40-pin IDE user interface, exchange connections on some designs can reach three gb per minute or more. This creates the hard drive duplicator an ideal tool for laptop or computer technicians. In the shop or on site, the hard drive generate duplicator allows a tech to substitute out failing or troublesome challenging hard drive generate pushes and replace them with fresh, reconstituted pushes. Traders, program contractors, recovery divisions, and MIS/IT (Management Information Systems/Information Technology) divisions also benefit from hard drive generate duplicators.

Law enforcement creates use of hard drive generate duplicators for forensic requirements. Models sold specifically for this audience include chain of evidence functions and the ability to check out for words, numbers, or other details on the fly.

A hard drive duplicator can be used for a multitude of applications and is reliable, fast, and convenient. Prices vary between designs according to functions, capacity, speed, and other considerations, but start at about US$500 and increase all the way to thousands of dollars. As with other laptop or computer products, hard drive generate duplicators are likely to come down in price as the cost of technology reduces.

Also Check out our DVD Duplicator

Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13343238644692451484noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2225933851206327423.post-15462423267111012342012-02-16T02:07:00.001-08:002012-02-16T02:07:04.166-08:00M-Disc Support Duplicators with FREE M-Disc Media and FREE USB Connection

Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE

Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE

Come and shop today at Duplicator4all.com the only seller of M-Disc Support Duplicators in Europe. Unlike ordinary discs that use organic dyes to keep data, M-DISC utilizes stable and heat-resistant chemical materials where information cannot be overwritten, erased, or corrupted by natural deterioration. Regular CD and DVD lasers cannot successfully etch information to the patented inorganic and synthetic materials used with M-DISC.
Optional Performance
The M-DISC duplicator is designed to copy onto M-DISC blank media along with standard CD and DVD blank media. Additionally, the top-quality M-DISC system eliminates common problems caused by previous drive/disc interactions. Performance is enhanced when the M-DISC duplicator etches data onto M-DISC media extremely sharp and clear to enable current CD and DVD players to read the finished discs without a problem.
Laser-Etching Data
Etching the rock-hard data layer encased in the M-DISC requires more power than what's found in a typical optical disc drive. The combination of an optimized laser and optical system with unique, control algorithms in the M-DISC duplicator allows rigorous performance-driven digital data etching into "stone".
Durability
While the M-DISC duplicator probably won't last as long as the well-preserved data on the M-DISC media, the durable build of the M-DISC duplicator should still outlast most other optical disc drives and duplicators. With an Anti-Dust design, the chassis insulation aids in the protection of the drive's internal components from dust and small particles that can hinder the drive's operability and lifespan.
Functionality
Preserving data for the ages should not be a difficult task, and the M-DISC duplicator reflects that philosophy. An easy-to-use LCD display controller interface and standalone operation means no computer or software is required to operate by any type of level user.

WHY BUY FROM US?

Duplicator4All.com is the BEST duplicator seller on Europe! Today, sales can be made from anywhere in the world to anywhere in the world without issue. However, the key to a successful sale, lies in the support provided and expediency at which the product can arrive to the customer.

Produplicator has always prided itself in developing partnerships with savvy, quality companies around the world. Since customers expect to get real time answers and service if there are any problems, it is hard to maintain strong customer support when the sales people and technicians are located thousands of miles and multiple time zones away. That is why we established office in Europe, in addition to our USA location, so that we can be responsive to the customer’s needs and quick to provide product or a solution, typically within the same day.

Another key element, that often goes unnoticed, is having sales people that understand these markets and their customer base. It is a complete standalone system which does not require a computer or any soft-wares to operate. Disc duplication equipment consists of 3 major components. One source drive, multiple target drives and a duplication controller card.

-The source drive is where the original disks are inserted.
-The Target drive is where the blank media are put in.
-The Controller card is the heart and brain of the drive that controls the data flow between the source and the target drives.

The operation is as simple as just pressing a button. Even the advanced options can be easily accessed with few button pushing.
The provided manual will be more than sufficient for even the not-so-savvy users to access it's entire functions.

Before you use the cd/dvd duplicator make sure that the disc that you are copying is a non-copyright protected disc, because these duplicators will not copy a protected disc. Once you have confirmed that the master disc that you are copying is non-copy protected then you may proceed on duplicating this disc.

There’s only two steps on how to copy the disc. First is to place the master disc on the source drive which is the very top drive. Second is to press ENT button and let it do it’s job.

The CD duplicators are capable of duplicating CDs at a rate of 2-5 min per session. The DVD discs are duplicated at 8-12min (at 8x speed) 6-7 1/2min (at 16x speed) per session. The speed of duplication varies depending on the media used, size of original, and options you choose.

If you encounter some problems with your duplicator, you can find solutions at this page Customer Service.

Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13343238644692451484noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2225933851206327423.post-55462614932268143242011-12-28T14:27:00.001-08:002012-01-05T09:24:19.594-08:00Produplicator's Smart USB Connection

Produplicator offers a true PC connection for a dedicated standalone duplicator. In fact, no other controllers available can offer a way to connect a standalone duplicator to a PC whereby any files can be transferred from the PC to the duplicator’s HDD for greater convenience and reliability. Produplicator introduced the new smart USB connection.

What are the benefits of smart USB? Firstly, smart USB does not have to translate data between the interface and the computer. That means that since the user is connecting a USB cable from a PC to a SATA connected drive, it will provide a true and more stable data transfer as opposed to connecting a SATA device like the HDD or optical drive to a PC through an alternate connection like USB or such. Secondly, because of this, smart USB has a much faster data transfer rate allowing files to be sent from the PC to the duplicator at speeds as high as 480Mb/sec. This greatly decreases the amount of time needed to download a file to the duplicator thus increasing the duplication production.

So, we can appreciate the devastation one would feel for loosing those files.

Controllers work much the same as a motherboard with limited responsibilities and functionality. Produplicator is one of the largest dvd duplicator manufacturers in the market and when we were developing our latest duplicator, we felt it was imperative to include Dual BIOS controller as an important safety precaution.

There are numerous possible ways, although many are remote possibilities, in which flash memory BIOS can become corrupted. If that were to happen, it could prevent the user from being able to boot up or operate the duplicator altogether. That’s why we developed our controller with a Dual BIOS chipset to ensure greater reliability and continued operation, even if an accident were to occur that would normally cripple the controller and therefore the entire duplicator.

Once the BIOS is down and the flash memory data corrupted because of an accident, like a sudden power failure, the backup BIOS is able to activate the entire system and retrieve the data back onto the initial BIOS through a firmware update if needed.

So if you don’t want to take any chances, do it right the first time, and purchase Produplicator equipment for all your duplication needs.

What is BIOS:
BIOS (Basic Input-Output System) is a complete boot system. M-Disc DVD and BluRay Duplicators

Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE

M-disc, Write Once and Read Forever

You might feel like you’re making a “permanent” backup of your files when you copy them onto a DVD or backup to a computer hard-drive, but the truth is these devices suffer from natural decay and degradation. Current DVD technology uses organic dyes and low laser power to make marks on the data layer of a standard recordable DVD. Over time, these marks become unreadable because organic dyes degrade when exposed to minimal levels of light, heat, and humidity. This means all the data you thought was safely stored could be lost because the discs you used have an average lifespan of only about 3 to 5 years! Why would you risk your data based on an average; hundreds of discs taken into account in that average were corrupt and unreadable after only a few months. With Millenniata, we don’t subject you to the possibility of losing your data. When we say write once and read forever, we mean it.

How does the M-DISC compare to other DVD sand optical discs?

Millenniata utilizes chemically stable and heat-resistant materials that are not used in any other DVD or optical disc! These materials cannot be overwritten, erased, or corrupted by natural processes. The normal laser energy employed to write DVDs or CDs cannot successfully write to the patented inorganic and synthetic materials used in the M-DISC

Data is stored on the M-DISC by physically altering the recording layer and creating permanent voids or holes. DVDs and other optical discs use organic dyes that break down over time, resulting in corrupt and unreadable data. These organic dyes are highly susceptible to temperature, humidity and even sunlight, starting to fade and decay the moment you record data.

Millenniata’s recording process utilizes higher temperatures and as much as 5 times more energy than any ordinary optical disc. This allows for permanent engraving on the M-DISC, what we refer to as pits. These pits are not affected by temperature, humidity and sunlight the same way dyes are, because the pits are permanent. This means when you burn data onto the M-DISC, it will last as long as you need it to.

How do we know?

The Naval Air Warfare Center at China Lake tested the M-DISC against the best conventional archival discs on the market produced by Mitsubishi, Verbatim, Taiyo Yuden, Delkin and MAM-A. The conditions were based on the 85°C/85% relative humidity industry test standard, supplemented with full-spectrum sunlight. The Navy’s goal was to simulate conditions at sea or in combat, which experience has shown to be a disc killer. The conclusion? The M-DISC suffered no data degradation at all while discs from Mitsubishi, Verbatim, Taiyo Yuden, Delkin and MAM-A failed after the stress period.

The Naval Air Warfare Center at China Lake has published these conclusions in the study, “Accelerated Life Cycle Comparison of Millenniata Archival DVD.” Conventional optical discs subjected to the same level of testing failed within 2 days while the M-DISC was not affected.

Naval Air Warfare Center Report -Full Report Summary Report

Notice of Proposed Sole Source Procurement - State of Utah

Tech Note - Data Layer Stability

Tech Note - Pits are Better

Tech Note - Rock-Like Layer

How can I access my data on an M-DISC?

Once written, the M-DISC can be read or played on any quality DVD drive that supports the common DVD+R/RW format. Once done, the controller is capable of burning all files inside this folder onto a blank disc as Data format.

Note: In order to make the Smart USB work, duplicator must have a Hard Drive and USB.

Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13343238644692451484noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2225933851206327423.post-85890177936756247182011-11-23T13:53:00.001-08:002011-11-23T13:53:01.783-08:00Produplicator and Smart USB Connection

The typical way to operate a standalone duplicator is to take a prerecorded master disc (typically a project that exists on the user's PC, which is burned onto a recordable disc creating the "Master Disc") for whatever project they want to duplicate. That master disc is then inserted into the duplicator's reader drive along with blank discs, for which the content is intended to be copied, and then the duplicator is activated to perform the copy procedure. It is not incredibly complicated but is not the most efficient way to initiate the copy procedure.

For this reason, Produplicator have a Smart USB Connection (optional on the duplicators) feature, which eliminates the need to create that first master disc. The feature works by transferring the content intended to be copied directly from a PC or even across a network and load it onto the duplicator’s hard drive (HDD). Once stored on the duplicator’s HDD, the user can initiate the copy process immediately, saving time and effort.

After Produplicator introduced this feature, competitive controller manufacturers tried to piggyback on Produplicator's success by offering similar features. However, the Produplicator version still reigns supreme due to the fact that it doesn't require some complicated third party software adaption to work. Produplicator's smart usb connection works through standard Window's point click operation whereas with a simple driver update. The competitor's version requires a 3rd party software that is not intuitive and is far more complicated and time consuming than the process it's trying to replace.

So don't let fancy titles or misrepresentations that others offer the same features as Produplicator fool you into thinking the features are exactly the same. Produplicator thinks about what will make the user's life easier, our competitors simply think, how they can match what Produplicator offers. Don't find out the hard way that it's easier to pretend to offer Produplicator's features than to actually match them. Instead, just purchase the Produplicator brand and avoid the hassles.

Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13343238644692451484noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2225933851206327423.post-80131322000894526702011-11-22T17:17:00.001-08:002011-11-22T17:17:29.991-08:00Produplicator and Copy Protection Software

Produplicator and Copy Protection Software

Everyone is accustomed to products or software being obsolete 10 minutes after they purchase it. It's to produce a mass number of copies from a single master. The concept behind daisy chain duplicators is that you can connect multiple towers together so that when loaded with blank media, they can all simultaneously copy a single master project onto every disc in every drive across every tower at the same time.

So if your goal is to record an huge number of discs simultaneously, quickly, then any mishaps that could cause a large portion of the discs to fail the duplication process would not only be extremely frustrating and time consuming, but also extremely costly. Multiple towers all giving bad discs is far more costly than a single tower failing. That's the difference between Produplicator and the competition. Our daisy chain duplicators function in a manner that creates a natural firewall to prevent the mishaps of one tower affecting the rest of the towers in the chain. The difference being that the competition does not offer this capability and is far riskier in encountering a massive failure for all or a majority of discs being duplicated.

The concept is simple, picture the daisy chain towers are like houses and each room in the house is like each tower in the chain. The power for the houses is like the data flowing to each drive in the daisy chain. So if you have a house with 10 rooms (think 10 separate towers in a daisy chain configuration) if there are no circuit breakers or just a single circuit breaker for the whole house, then if there is a power surge that disrupts the power flow it will knock out the power in the entire house. If each room has its own circuit breaker (like each tower in the Produplicator Daisy Chain),then if there is a power surge in any particular room, it will only affect that particular room and the rest of the rooms in the house will function as normal. So the circuit breakers in each room, just like the hard drives in each tower, will act to isolate each tower from harm while still allowing the power/data to flow freely to each room/drive in the unaffected areas.

So what would you rather have, the assurance that if you have a drive that locks up or freezes, because you're using low cost/grade media, that it will not affect the majority of discs being duplicated? Or, take the chance that if the same thing happens on a non-Produplicator daisy chain system that you could lose every disc across all towers? Even with cheap media, that adds up and costs you time and effort as well to replace all those discs. When you're making so many discs at one time and time and costs are important to you, do you really want to take that chance?

If you'd like more clarification on the differences between the Produplicator Daisy Chain and the competition, feel free to contact our office anytime.

Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13343238644692451484noreply@blogger.com0
